Garlic and Herb Fauxmaggio Linguine Carbonara

This vegan version of Linguine Carbonara will make you forget about the traditional recipe. Made with Fauxmaggio garlic and herb spread, it’s packed with flavor and richness.


  • 1 pound linguine
  • 1/2 cup Fauxmaggio Garlic & Herb Spread
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup vegan bacon, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced


  1. Cook linguine according to package directions, drain and set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, heat Fauxmaggio Garlic & Herb Spread over medium heat until melted.
  3. Add almond milk, nutritional yeast, salt, and pepper to the pan and stir until well combined.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms, vegan bacon, and garlic to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Add the Fauxmaggio sauce to the skillet and stir to combine with the mushroom and bacon mixture.
  6. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
  7. Serve hot, topped with chopped basil and vegan parmesan cheese.
